Boys will be is a short film about old men on benches. Those benches are everywhere in each town, in every city all around the world. Old men are the same everywhere; men with their whole life behind them, in the last stage of their lives. Men who don’t have to be or do anything except ‘be’. Some of them ‘are’ at peace, others are more cynical.

Boys will be is a fragmentary, poetic sketch of old age and things that will remain the same. Poetry with a whiff of Amsterdam humour.
